A friend of mine posted this song on the Laredo Indie Buzz Facebook page about half an hour ago. I can't stop listening to it because it's just so pretty. It's by Maxence Cyrin from his album Novo Piano (click to buy on amazon). Its amazing how a piano, a skilled musician, and a Pixies tune can become something so beautiful. Its one of those songs that can make you cry, not because you are sad but because of the rich sound produced. It moves you. It reaches out to your soul like a consoling friend. It also reminds you of The Pixies' talent for creating a catchy and unique tune that is able to translate just as well outside of its original form. Props to all parties involved.
