ON REPEAT: suburban dogs
Upon first listen Real Estate's "suburban dogs" might seem like a drag. Usually I lean more towards the sound which is why I always skipped this subtle track. But I finally gave it a chance and changed my mind about it. The lyrics bring out the greatness of this song. "Suburban dogs" conjures up ideas of the concrete jungle, the routine life, and home. Give it a try...
"Suburban dogs bark at slow moving trains. They'll run from your house and come back the same day. Suburban dogs are in love with their chains."
