MY TRACK OF THE DAY: older brother

Pepper Rabbit's "Red Wine" sat untouched in my ipod for many weeks. Recently it resurfaced. And I becoming keenly interested in other Pepper Rabbit material sought their myspace page and liked "older brother." One word for this song: soothing. A place that describes the song: a cloudy day at a laundromat on a Hawaiian beach. The synths/keyboard in the background are a little bit reminiscent of the last 25 seconds of The National's "sorrow." The simplicity of "older brother" probably allows the song to sound as pleasing live as it does here.
